Ancient Seas

The Ammonite in this pendant is a prehistoric fossil of an extinct marine cephalopod approximately 100 million years old.  It is bezel set in a fine silver precious metal clay (.999) setting with textured background and hidden attached fine silver bail. The setting was oxidized with liver of sulfur, polished to emphasize its texture, and then sealed with Renaissance Wax to help retain the color.

The pendant hangs on a 19" sterling silver cable chain along which freshwater pearls are strung at intervals .  A 2" sterling extension chain is finished with a small freshwater pearl at the end.

Pendant is 1 3/4" wide by 2" tall.

Organza gift bag included.
